Our history

June 1938

Founded by Toshio Okabe(first president) and Shigeo Okabe(first factory manager) at 1210

Haramachi,Meguro-Ku,Tokyo

Started the production of cutting tools such as center drills.

April 1939

Became a member of Precision Machinery Control Association in Japan.

April 1946

Continued R&D of cutting tool after the War.

Developed special high-precise and –efficient grinding machine and doubled the production.

April 1948

Became a member of JTA (Japan Cutting & Wear-resistant Tool Association) since establishment in April 1948

and was previously named as member of the director in 1998.

August 2005

Expanded the main factory from Meguro city  in Tokyo to Kawasaki city in Kanagawa prefecture in order to
respond and facilitate rapidly increasing demands of production from past years.  

Successfully introduced and implemented dedicated operation machine which flexibly allows adjusting to the
precise size of production required by each product.

Present

Supply exclusively the supreme quality of Center Drills to Auto-mobils, Aircraft, Shipbuilding, Electric

appliances, Vehicle equipment and other major manufacturing companies in industrial sectors worldwide.
